Job summary

Tatcha seeks a Sr. Manager, People Business Partner in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive people and culture initiatives that improve performance, retention, and development.

You will serve as an employee advocate and business partner to leadership, supporting talent management, succession planning, and HR program implementation. You will partner with global teams, influence strategic HR decisions, and ensure compliance with laws while delivering high-touch service to employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7+ years diverse and progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity.
• Experience in the beauty industry is highly desired.
• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree or SHRM certification preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to partner with leaders and drive HR strategies.
• Strong coaching, training, and development capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel, coaching, and strategic support to leadership on HR matters.
• Diagnose problems, analyze data, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Participate in leadership meetings as a business partner for employee impact.
• Advise on People/Human Resources programs, policies, and laws.
• Conduct investigations in line with company guidelines and legal direction.
• Coach leadership through conflict resolution and policy adherence.
• Join recruitment and talent development efforts to improve retention.
• Support onboarding and talent placement with hiring managers.
• Analyze turnover and implement retention strategies.
• Lead talent management and succession planning in partnership with leadership.
