Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Senior People Analyst in New Jersey to design, maintain, and deliver business-critical dashboards and reports. You’ll respond to data requests, validate information, and ensure consistency with Wiley’s People Metrics Glossary across projects.

You will support executives by presenting clean data, collaborating with HR and analytics teams, and using AI tools to accelerate insights while maintaining high data quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role (people or HR analytics experience is a plus, not required)
• Comfort with Excel and at least one BI or reporting tool
• Strong attention to detail and a habit of double-checking your own numbers
• Working knowledge of basic statistics (averages, distributions, and correlation) and how to apply them to workforce data
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining a number to someone who doesn’t work with data every day
• Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions when a request is unclear

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Crunchr and Workday for a diverse group of stakeholders
• Respond to ad hoc data requests, scoping what’s being asked and delivering clean, accurate answers
• Apply Wiley’s People Metrics Glossary consistently so definitions don’t drift across projects
• Support executive-facing deliverables by pulling, validating, and formatting data
• Flag data quality issues and help resolve them before they reach a dashboard
• Leverage Wiley’s extensive AI resources for people analytics and use them to speed up your own work
