Job summary

Current HR, a Fort Wright-based PEO, seeks a seasoned HR Director to lead client-facing HR operations, internal HR teams, and enterprise accounts. You will drive complex investigations, multi-state risk management, and strategic HR programs across multiple client workforces.

The role requires 10+ years of PEO leadership, PrismHR proficiency, and a track record of scaling service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work with onsite KY presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR leadership within a PEO or fast-paced HR consulting firm.
• Hands-on PrismHR expertise and multi-state compliance experience.
• Strong change-management and strategic HR/risk-mitigation advisory skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; SHRM credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR authority for the internal team, cross-department leaders, and enterprise client leadership.
• Lead complex employee investigations, high-risk terminations, and ADA/FMLA scenarios.
• Direct multi-state leave management, accommodations, and complex compliance processes.
• Drive benefits open enrollment strategy, configuration, and rollout across client accounts.
• Oversee HR audits for new clients to identify co-employment risks and remediation steps.
• Mentor and develop the client-facing HR team; balance workloads and ensure service levels.
