Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an ACCS Lead Peer Specialist in Massachusetts to promote engagement, hope and full integration of Persons Served (PS) into community living. You will welcome, orient and engage PS, collaborate with LPHA clinicians and supervise Peer Specialists to ensure quality recovery-focused services.

You will support PS through life transitions, assist with intake, advocate for services, and promote self-determination while guiding the team in best practices and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience providing peer support to people with psychiatric disability and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Personal, first-hand experience with mental health services and recovery.
• Formal mental health diagnosis is not required, but experience with mental health services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and conduct intake with PS within 72 hours with Team LPHA Clinicians.
• Provide ongoing recovery-oriented support, education and advocacy during transitions.
• Promote engagement, housing stability and self-sufficiency for Persons Served (PS).
• Facilitate WRAP groups and connect PS with recovery resources.
• Supervise and train Team Peer Specialists to maintain peer role integrity.
