Vinfen in Massachusetts is seeking an ACCS Lead Peer Specialist to promote engagement and functioning of Persons Served in the community. You will welcome, orient and engage PS, collaborate with LPHA to determine services, and supervise the Team’s Peer Specialists.

You will promote recovery-oriented approaches and wellness planning, including WRAP, and support PS through transitions and daily living challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience providing peer support to people with psychiatric disabilities or co-occurring disorders is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented, person-centered approaches.

Responsabilités

• Initiate intake with Team LPHA Clinicians within 72 hours and engage Persons Served (PS) in services.
• Provide support, advocacy and education to PS during transitions and life events.
• Supervise and mentor Team Peer Specialists, promote WRAP and recovery planning.
• Facilitate peer support groups and connect PS to community resources.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with Certified Peer Specialist standards.
