Job summary

Vinfen, established nonprofit behavioral health provider, seeks an ACCS Lead Peer Specialist to promote engagement and full community integration for Persons Served. You will supervise the Team's Peer Specialists, collaborate with LPHA clinicians, and support recovery, housing stability and self‑determination.

The role requires experience in peer support, advocacy during transitions, and strong commitment to recovery‑oriented care within Vinfen's services for individuals with mental health

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience providing peer support to people with psychiatric disability and/or co‑occurring disorders.
• Personal, first‑hand experience with mental health services or trauma resulting in life disruption.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake with Team LPHA Clinicians within 72 hours to engage Persons Served.
• Provide support, education and advocacy to Persons Served during transitions and housing changes.
• Supervise Peer Specialists and mentor the team to maintain recovery‑oriented practices.
• Facilitate Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) groups and recovery planning.
• Ensure documentation aligns with Certified Peer Specialist standards and ethics.
