Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated ACCS Peer Specialist in Lawrence, MA to promote engagement and functioning of Persons Served in the community. You will provide peer support, share recovery experiences, and help PS access resources and housing, employment, and independent living services.

The role emphasizes recovery-oriented, person-centered approaches, confidentiality, and advocacy, with a sign-on bonus of $2,000.

Qualifications

• Personal, first-hand experience with mental health services.
• Certified Peer Specialist credential preferred; must become certified within 6–12 months of hire.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements Peer Support-oriented Treatment Plan interventions.
• Shares experiences; provides support, education, and advocacy to Persons Served (PS).
• Facilitates WRAP groups and helps PS access recovery resources.
• Engages PS in supportive relationships to promote empowerment and self-learning.
• Completes documentation per Certified Peer Specialist standards.
