Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated ACCS Peer Specialist in Massachusetts to promote engagement and functioning for Persons Served. You will provide Peer Support, help PS explore options, and build confidence, skills and resources to achieve personal goals.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plan interventions, facilitating peer groups, connecting clients to services, and coaching in wellness planning. Knowledge of recovery principles and person-centered approaches is essential.

Qualifications

• Personal, first-hand experience with mental health and recovery.
• Advocacy and supporting Persons Served to achieve goals.
• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements Peer Support-oriented interventions.
• Shares experiences, provides support and education to Persons Served.
• Engages PS in relationships that promote empowerment.
• Links PS to community services and support networks.
• Facilitates Peer Support groups and WRAP planning.
• Promotes engagement, housing, and access to services.
