Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center is seeking a Medical Liaison and Supervisory Coordinator to ensure children in our care receive comprehensive medical services. You will coordinate primary care, immunizations, and medical records while ensuring compliance with California licensing and health department requirements.

The role involves collaborating with clinicians, updating sponsors and families, and guiding staff on medical protocols in a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating pediatric medical care in a licensed facility.
• Knowledge of Title 22, Department of Health, and licensing requirements.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team based medical care for the children placed in the center.
• Prepare, compile, submit, and maintain accurate medical records, files, forms, statistics, and additional relevant information.
• Review ORR portal for compliance with medical information upload requirements and ensure updates are input as needed.
• Provide sponsors, family members and clients with medical updates.
• Participate in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all medical needs of the children for designated social service program(s).
• Establish and maintain partnership with medical care providers.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team decisions and operations to represent the medical needs of the children.
• Coordinate medical resources for all employees and resource family homes.
• Adhere to Child Abuse and reporting requirements.
• Must be relied upon regarding task completion and meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, work quality, or customer service satisfaction.
