Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a senior technical leader to drive cloud adoption within Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.

You will engage with technical leaders and executives, guiding architecture, migration, and cost optimization across complex legacy environments. In this role, you will collaborate with AWS Business Development, Account Solutions Architects, and Professional Services to migrate legacy apps and build cloud-native solutions, leveraging microservices,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical member of the Business Development team to drive customer success on AWS platform.
• Establish technical credibility in sales cycles with senior IT and business leaders across PE segment.
• Define clear objectives and success criteria for each customer engagement.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance to PE firms and portfolio companies; develop cost-optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with Private Equity firms and portfolio companies to ensure resources are available for success with AWS services.
• Build rapport with executives across PE firms and their portfolio companies on enterprise architecture and migration topics.
• Support CEO/CTOs via AWS platform briefings and solution architect office hours.
• Run specialized workshops and training sessions for AWS customers.
• Drive adoption of technology beyond the cloud value proposition within PE portfolio companies.

Education

Experience requirements: 8+ years in technology domains; 3+ years in applications/infrastructure design/consulting; 10+ years IT development/consulting
