Job summary

Raytheon in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer (PDE) with experience in circuit card/PCB assembly, manufacturing, and subsystem integration. You will support design teams as the affordability, manufacturability, and producibility expert across programs, guiding PCB/CCA through to production.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, is onsite, with relocation assistance and competitive salary; you will collaborate across disciplines to resolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in PCB manufacturing or circuit card assembly.
• Familiarity with IPC and MIL specifications and design guides.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IPTs for input to design processes incl. materials, layout, and components.
• Create development schedules and ensure participation of Mechanical, ECAD, Parts, Planners, and Suppliers.
• Facilitate prototype development and support Producibility Engineering; participate in Gate Reviews.
• Help identify and develop PCB/CCA supplier partners.
• Travel to suppliers for assessments and readiness reviews.
