Job summary

Raytheon Huntsville is seeking a Product Development Engineer (PDE) with PCB manufacturing and circuit card assembly expertise to support the Electrical Products design community. The role focuses on affordability, manufacturability, and producibility across programs to meet delivery milestones.

Responsibilities include IPT input, development scheduling with Mechanical/ECAD/Parts Engineering, and leading gate reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in PCB manufacturing or circuit card assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC and MIL specifications and design guides.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and tooling processes.
• Experience with manufacturing environments and gate reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support IPT design input on materials, layout, and component choices.
• Create development schedules with Mechanical, ECAD, and Suppliers.
• Facilitate prototype development and producibility reviews.
• Identify PCB/CCA supplier partners and participate in supplier assessments.
