Raytheon in Huntsville, AL is seeking a senior PCB design engineer responsible for conception through manufacturing of PCBs and CCAs. You will produce schematics, layouts, and Gerber/ODB++ data, working across electrical, mechanical, and producibility teams to ensure cost-effective, supportable designs.

The role requires a DoD security clearance (Secret) and onsite collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines. 8+ years in PCB design with experience in rigid/flex layouts is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PCB/CCA manufacturing principles affecting circuitry and layout.
• Experience with the electrical design process.
• Experience with laying out Rigid, Flex, or Rigid-Flex boards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing.
• Create PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers.
• Schematic Capture, Component Placement, Routing of Traces, Gerber/ODB++ file creation.
• Interface with Siemens Xpedition and BluePrint-PCB tools to develop designs.
