Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior precast and prestressed quality authority. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits, resolve structural questions, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.

You must hold PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, with at least 6 years of relevant QC experience, and be proficient with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI MNL-116/117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
