LRSolutions, LLC in Newark, CA is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead its Manufacturing Test Engineering team. The role focuses on PCBA test strategy, development of Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe testing to ensure robust coverage and high yields.

The candidate will guide test program development, lead engineering teams, and collaborate with NPI, QA, and Design to drive production readiness and continual process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years in test engineering within EMS/PCBA/electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong PCBA Functional Testing, ICT and Flying Probe testing expertise.
• Experience overseeing test program development, fixtures, validation, and process implementation.
• Understanding of PCBA design, troubleshooting, and manufacturing test methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI, ramp-up, yield improvement, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and develop engineering talent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test Engineers with priorities and timelines.
• Define test strategies, standards, and best practices across programs.
• Manage resources and deliverables to support production requirements and commitments.
• Oversee PCBA test solutions (Functional, ICT, Flying Probe) development and maintenance.
• Guide test program, fixtures, procedures, and methodologies.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements and quality.
• Evaluate equipment and technologies to improve capability and performance.
• Collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Design Engineering for production readiness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for failures and defects.
• Drive improvements in yield, cycle time, and retest rates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and align test needs.
