Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. in Newark, CA is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead its Manufacturing Test Engineering team. You will oversee PCBA testing, including Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe, to ensure robust test coverage and manufacturing readiness.

You will mentor engineers, define test strategies, support NPI and production ramp, and drive continuous improvement in yields and test efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering).
• 8+ years in test engineering within EMS/PCBA/electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong PCBA functional testing, ICT, and Flying Probe expertise.
• Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, yield improvement.
• Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers with priorities and timelines.
• Define strategies and best practices for manufacturing test programs.
• Oversee PCBA test development, fixtures, procedures, and validation.
• Drive root-cause analysis to improve test reliability and yields.
• Collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing, QA, Design, and Program Management.
