Job summary

United Future in Newark, CA, seeks an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Test Engineering team in electronics manufacturing. You will direct PCBA test strategy, including Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe testing, and drive test program development through NPI and production ramps.

You will mentor engineers, set priorities, and collaborate with Design, Quality, and Program Management to improve first-pass yield and test cycle times while ensuring product quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in test engineering, EMS/PCBA/electronics manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Expertise in PCBA Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe Testing.
• Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, yield improvements, and HW test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers, setting priorities, timelines, and performance expectations.
• Oversee development, validation, and maintenance of PCBA test solutions (Functional Test, ICT, Flying Probe).
• Drive test program development, fixtures, procedures, and methodologies to ensure coverage and quality.
• Partner with NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Program Management to ensure production readiness.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of test processes.
