Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Newark, CA seeks an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead its Test Engineering team and oversee PCBA testing strategies across Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe, ensuring robust test coverage and manufacturing readiness.

You will partner with NPI, Production, Quality, Design, and Program Management to ramp up production, troubleshoot complex failures, and drive continuous improvements in yield and test efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in test engineering in EMS or electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in PCBA Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe Testing.
• Experience overseeing test program development, test fixture design, test validation, and test process implementation.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCBA design, component-level troubleshooting, and manufacturing test methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI, production ramp-up, yield improvement, and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Test Engineers with clear priorities and timelines.
• Define test strategies, standards, and best practices across programs.
• Oversee PCBA testing solutions including Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe.
• Partner with NPI and Production teams to ensure production readiness.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability and yield.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and align test requirements.
