Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer focusing on PCBA for the Barracuda program. You will own PCBA and avionics, work with cross-functional teams to support production, and ensure manufacturability and quality targets.

The role requires hands-on experience with PCB fabrication, SMT, and design for manufacturability, with a track record of delivering hardware in fast-paced environments. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or hard science)
8+ years in PCBA/SMT processing
Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments
Experience collaborating across teams and mentoring others
Hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly)

Responsibilities

Leverage NPI to transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production
Collaborate with Design Engineering early in development for DFM feedback
Develop PCBA workmanship standards and process parameters
Establish scalable DFM frameworks across products/sites/partners
Lead verification of PCBA vendor capabilities (SMT, packaging, underfill, edge bond)
Ensure compliance with approved manufacturing processes and materials at subcontractors
Mentor and lead a team of PCBA DFM engineers and technical leads
