Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a qualified test process engineer to improve PCBA test workflows on the shop floor. You will work with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to drive yield improvements and standardize test methods across factory locations.

Responsibilities include leading analyses, implementing DFM/DFT recommendations, and ensuring test software aligns with manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
• Experience analyzing data to guide decisions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical collaborations.
• 3+ years in manufacturing test or automated test equipment.
• Hands-on PCBA provisioning and functional test experience.
• Experience with embedded system test racks and test tooling.
• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and AS9100 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Python or Rust, with test automation focus.
• Experience with NI TestStand for test sequences.

Responsibilities

• Lead test process analyses across PCBA workflows to improve yield.
• Drive test system improvements balancing performance, schedule, cost.
• Collaborate with test software teams to fix failures and gaps.
• Specify requirements for efficiency and operator usability.
• Analyze first-pass yield data to guide corrective actions.
• Coordinate with CM sites to standardize processes across locations.
