Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an engineer to standardize PCB test processes across factory locations and contract manufacturers. You will analyze yield, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with software, hardware, and supply chain teams to improve test efficiency.

The role emphasizes DFx recommendations, root-cause analysis, and scalable deployment in manufacturing environments. A strong background in test systems and manufacturing is required.

Formación

• Knowledge of networking, security, databases, OSs.
• Experience with process improvement methods (Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in auditing, risk management, or quality systems.
• Experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong requirements gathering and cross-team collaboration.
• Hardware/software debugging and large-scale systems practices.
• Ability to read/write technical docs and diagrams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating across hardware/software/program management.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct test process analyses across PCBA test workflows to identify failure modes, evaluate improvement alternatives, and optimize yield and throughput
• Support and execute improvements for test systems balancing performance, schedule, cost, risk, and scalability
• Collaborate with test software teams to investigate/report test failures and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements
• Document and communicate requirements for test process efficiency and operator usability
• Analyze first-pass yield data to identify trends and track corrective action effectiveness
• Work with CM sites to review processes and support standardization across locations
