Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Manager, PCBA Aerospace Manufacturing Test Engineering to lead test deployment and optimization for Satellite PCBAs. You will oversee documentation, training, and ongoing support across CM sites, working closely with internal test teams and manufacturing partners.

You will identify root causes of test failures, develop runbooks, and coordinate with R&D to improve test systems.

Qualifications

7+ years in new hardware product development
7+ years of engineering team management
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing)
Experience in project management of technical projects
Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies
Experience developing products for large volume production
Experience managing teams of 8+ engineers

Responsibilities

Develop test strategies, implement and optimize test setups at Contract Manufacturing sites
Collaborate with R&D and Test Development to improve test systems, fixtures and procedures
Analyze data to identify failure trends and recommend improvements
Create procedures and runbooks for test operators
Train operators on test processes and certification programs
Perform PCBA debug and root-cause analysis at CM sites
Provide feedback on test coverage and DFx recommendations
Work with team to achieve short-term goals and strategic initiatives
