Job summary

Tilde Bio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on designing, validating, and ramping complex PCBs for our next-generation proteomics platform.

You will lead mixed-signal/high-speed designs, collaborate across firmware, mechanical, bioengineering, and systems teams, and drive manufacturability from concept to production. Strong SI/PI and lab bring-up experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in PCB design and hardware development.
• Multilayer PCB design for mixed-signal or high-speed systems.
• Experience with USB, Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, SPI, I2C interfaces.
• Strong SI/PI, grounding, EMI/EMC, and lab bring-up skills.
• Hands-on prototyping, debugging and product ramp to manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex multilayer PCBs for advanced instrumentation.
• Architect mixed-signal/high-speed circuits including analog front ends and power management.
• Collaborate with SW/HW teams and vendors for seamless integration.
• Develop and maintain schematics, layouts, validation reports, and specs.
• Drive design reviews, DFM/DFT practices, and testability improvements.
• Contribute to IP generation and technical strategy discussions.
