Job summary

Tilde Bio, Inc. in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep PCB design expertise to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will lead the design, layout, integration, and validation of complex multi‑layer PCBs that enable our next‑generation proteomics platform, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, bioengineering, and systems groups. The ideal candidate has strong experience in mixed‑signal and high‑speed designs, signal and power integrity, and DFM/DFT.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience in PCB design and hardware development.
• Expertise in multilayer PCB design for mixed-signal/high-speed systems.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (USB, Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, SPI, I2C).
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC mitigation.
• Hands-on with board bring-up, debugging, and lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex, multilayer PCBs for advanced instrumentation systems.
• Architect mixed-signal, high-speed, and low-noise circuits including analog front ends and data acquisition.
• Collaborate with SW and HW engineers and external vendors for hardware–software integration.
• Develop and maintain documentation including schematics, layouts, validation reports, and specs.
• Drive design reviews, DFM, and DFT best practices.
• Contribute to IP generation and technical strategy discussions.
