DensityAI, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to own the technology roadmap for advanced PCB/substrate used with our AI accelerator silicon. You will shape materials, structures, and processes, coordinating with packaging, thermal, and systems teams and with manufacturing partners to ensure design-for-manufacturing and reliability.

You will lead DFM/DFx reviews, qualify suppliers, define IPC-based standards, and drive defect analysis and corrective actions. 5+ years in the field required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering and 5+ years in PCB/substrate tech.
• Hands-on experience developing and qualifying advanced substrate/PCB technologies with vendors.
• Strong grasp of PCB/substrate fabrication processes and failure modes.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to enable new product architectures.

Responsabilités

• Drive the advanced substrate and PCB technology roadmap with vendor collaboration.
• Develop and qualify materials, structures, and processes from evaluation to production readiness.
• Collaborate with packaging, thermal, mechanical, and systems teams for new architectures.
• Lead DFM/DFx reviews to catch manufacturability and reliability risks before tape-out.
• Own supplier quality, PPAP/first-article, and process capability with fab/substrate partners.
• Define IPC-based quality standards and drive defect analysis with corrective actions.
• Support reliability qualification and use SPC/DOE to improve process quality.
• Build scalable DFM guidelines and quality processes from prototype to production.
