Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Designer for Rochester, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on designing complex multi‑layer PCBs (6+ layers) from schematic through manufacturing release, including high‑speed routing and power distribution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional PCB layout experience, including high‑complexity designs in Altium Designer.
• Experience designing multi‑layer PCBs (6+ layers) and complex circuit layouts.
• Strong Altium library management experience with symbols, footprints, and standards.
• Knowledge of DFM, impedance control, high‑speed routing, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Familiarity with IPC standards: IPC‑7351, IPC‑2221, IPC‑2222, IPC‑A‑600, IPC‑6012.

Aufgaben

• Design complex multi‑layer PCBs (6+ layers) from schematic to release, including high‑speed and power distribution layouts.
• Own and maintain the Altium component library, symbols, footprints, 3D models, and data.
• Establish library best practices to improve accuracy, consistency, and IPC compliance.
• Conduct design rule checks, signal integrity analysis, DFM reviews, and peer reviews.
• Generate manufacturing documentation and support prototype builds and iterations.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and signal/power integrity engineers on new product development.
• Guide engineers on component submissions and library usage, supporting standardization.
• Collaborate with client engineering teams as a technical representative.
