Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants seeks a Senior PCB Design Engineer in Middletown, PA to lead high-speed PCB layout from concept through production release. You will define stack-ups, routing, and fabrication docs, ensuring SI/PI, EMI/EMC performance, and manufacturability.

Collaboration with global teams is essential. The role requires 8–12 years in high-speed digital PCB design, advanced Altium expertise, and strong DFMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of professional PCB design experience, high-speed digital.
• Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer for layout and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and DFM.
• Experience producing fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, Gerbers/ODB++, and BOMs.
• Solid understanding of impedance control, differential pairs, crosstalk, and return path.
• Ability to work with cross-functional/global teams and deliver on release.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, layout, and development of high-speed PCBs using Altium.
• Define stack-ups, routing strategies, and layout requirements for SI/PI and EMI/EMC.
• Translate schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts and documentation.
• Create fabrication/assembly drawings, Gerber/ODB++ files, BOMs, and production docs.
• Collaborate with PCB fabrication/assembly vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure IPC/JEDEC/IEEE compliance.
• Troubleshoot design, fabrication, and production issues with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of design methodologies and processes.
