Power Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY (onsite) is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Designer to develop high-density PCB and hybrid layouts, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and process teams, and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities include routing, 3D modeling with SolidWorks, creating fabrication drawings, and ensuring manufacturability and reliability of designs, with expertise in Cadence and related tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing high-density multilayer PCBs and hybrids.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Design high-speed, high-density PCBs and hybrids from placement to release.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to resolve layout issues.
• Use SolidWorks for electronics packaging and 3D modeling.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and Gerber data for fabrication and assembly.
• Mentor junior designers and support tool administration.
