Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a PCB Layout Designer to design and lay out complex multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer. The role focuses on high-speed circuits, signal integrity, and controlled impedance, with collaboration across engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to develop robust design documentation for complex CCAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer and complex PCB layout.
• Experience with multilayer boards, high-speed signals, and controlled impedance.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and PCB stackup design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and document complex multilayer PCBs and circuit card assemblies.
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Design high-speed circuits with FPGAs, microprocessors, DDR memory, and PCIe interfaces.
• Perform high-speed routing, impedance tuning, crosstalk reduction, and SI/PI analysis.
• Develop optimized PCB stackups using low-loss materials and advanced fabrication techniques.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design verification.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Prepare design documentation and ensure compliance with electrical and manufacturing requirements.
