Outpost Space in Playa Vista, CA is seeking a Senior PCB Designer to lead the design, testing, and production of avionics PCBs for our Earth-return vehicles. You will draft standards, manage libraries, and collaborate with avionics, mechanical, and operations teams to ensure top-quality layouts.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience designing PCBs in aerospace, automotive, HPC, or similar fields.
4+ years of experience with Altium and A365 (Agile).
4+ years of experience with component library management.
Familiarity with transmission line theory and Ohm's law.

Responsibilities

Draft design standards and review checklists.
Design and manage a procedurally generated Altium component library.
Draft fabrication and assembly drawings.
Place, route, and review complex multi-layer PCBs.
Point of contact for vendor procurement.
