Job summary

Aleron is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer, Spacecraft, to join our flight program team in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time, in-office role focuses on designing, developing, assembling, and testing electrical boards and assemblies for spacecraft builds.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace electrical engineering, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance. Proficiency with PCB tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in aerospace electrical engineering with hands-on hardware testing.
• Must be eligible for DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Experience designing electronics for space applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate spacecraft PCB assemblies.
• Develop avionics subsystems and flatsat emulators with emphasis on reliability.
• Create electrical integration and board bring-up procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across spacecraft subsystems.
• Document design processes and test results.
