Blue Origin seeks an experienced PCB Layout Designer III to design high-performance avionics PCBs for aerospace applications. You will develop and maintain Part libraries, work with Altium Designer to generate detailed layouts, Gerbers, and documentation while ensuring IPC-6012 Class 3 compliance and robust manufacturability.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams, mentor junior engineers, and help refine design processes and checklists.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in PCB layout and design for aerospace/defense.
• Proficient in Altium Designer Pro/365/Enterprise.
• Experience with IPC-6012 Class 3 and IPC-7352 standards.
• Knowledge of HDI boards with fine pitch BGA and vias.
• Experience in trace length matching, impedance control and power delivery.

Responsabilités

• Design and layout high-performance PCBs for aerospace applications.
• Develop and maintain eCAD libraries ( footprints, symbols, data).
• Create Gerbers, FAB/ASY drawings and documentation from schematics.
• Support DFM/DFT reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers on library and layout best practices.
