Job summary

Blue Origin in Los Angeles is seeking an Avionics PCB Layout Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to design high-performance PCBs for aerospace applications. You will collaborate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to ensure requirements are met and interfaces are robust.

You will use Altium Designer, Allegro, and Eagle to create schematics and layouts, enforce DFM/DFT standards, and mentor junior staff while contributing to library development across Blue Moon programs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of PCB layout and design experience.
• BS in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, high-speed layouts.
• Experience with Allegro, Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, Proteus.
• Ability to create detailed schematics and layouts.
• Knowledge of PCB best practices for design, manufacturing, testing.

• Design and layout high-performance PCBs for aerospace applications.
