Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics PCB Layout Engineer to design high-reliability PCBs for aerospace applications within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will work with Altium Designer and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to meet stringent requirements.

The role requires 5–7 years in PCB layout, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with Allegro, Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, and Proteus.

Qualifications

• A BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in PCB layout and design.
• Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed layout and design.
• Experience with leading EDA tools for schematic capture and layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of high-performance, high-reliability PCBs for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware and software teams to meet design requirements.
• Prepare detailed schematics and board layouts using Altium Designer and other tools.
• Maintain documentation for PCB layout and design and provide troubleshooting support.
