Job summary

Outpost Technologies Corporation in Playa Vista, CA seeks a Senior PCB Designer to join the Avionics team in person. You will design, validate, and document electronics for our Earth-return vehicles, collaborating with mechanical engineering and operations.

Lead the development of multi-layer PCBs using Altium, build a robust component library, and ensure fabrication drawings and vendor procurement are ready for production.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing PCBs in automotive, aerospace, HPC, or similar fields.
• 4+ years of experience with Altium and A365 (Agile).
• 4+ years of experience with component library management.
• Familiarity with transmission line theory and ohms law.

Responsibilities

• Draft design standards and review checklists.
• Design and manage a procedurally generated Altium component library.
• Draft fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Place, Route, and Review complex multi-layer PCBs.
• Point of contact for vendor procurement.
