Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior PCB design engineer for fully remote work in the United States. You will prepare complex PCB layouts and revisions from verbal instructions and engineering inputs to enable fabrication, assembly, and testability.

You will interface with manufacturing and vendors, mentor junior designers, and apply strong knowledge of Mentor Graphics tools. A 10-year track record in electronic hardware design is required and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Mentor Graphics Xpedition Designer, Layout and CES; HyperLynx Si/Pi/DRC; Valor; CAM350/BluePrint.
• Willingness to work overtime as requested/required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex PCB design layouts or revisions per engineering inputs to create assemblies with fabrication and testability.
• Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering and vendors to troubleshoot PCB designs and CAD models; mentor junior designers.
