Job summary

Optimum Design Associates, an Emerald Technologies company, is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Designer to join our remote team in the United States. You will design complex boards and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver advanced hardware solutions.

You will apply your strong PCB layout skills, RF/mixed signal understanding, and IPC standards, while growing with diverse projects and a culture focused on quality and service.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or a minimum of 12 years of Design Layout experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques and processes meeting mechanical, electrical (RF & Mixed Signal), and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design printed circuit boards that meet mechanical, electrical and manufacturing requirements.
• Meet on-time delivery by planning resources and communicating progress to customers.
• Apply independence and creativity to drive complex projects.
• Daily web-based collaboration with customer and design team members.
• Identify and resolve project issues as they arise.
• Maintain hours and activities in the project tracker and review quality objectives.
• Grow business by being a proactive customer advocate.
