Job summary

RTX/Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced PCB design engineer to prepare complex layouts and revisions, collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams.

You will interface with Manufacturing and vendors, troubleshoot designs, and mentor junior designers while supporting a wide range of aerospace hardware projects. A strong background in Mentor Graphics tools and IPC standards is expected.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Mentor Graphics Xpedition Designer, HyperLynx, Valor, CAM350/BluePrint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex PCB design layouts or revisions per verbal instructions, electrical inputs, existing hardware, or engineering models to create circuit card assemblies.
• Interface and troubleshoot PCB designs with Manufacturing, Engineering and PWB vendors; mentor junior designers.
