Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking a PBX Operator to manage the hospital's multi-line switchboard, route calls, and support paging and emergency communications across locations. You will act as a resource and assist in scheduling to ensure adequate PBX coverage.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of PBX experience; healthcare setting experience and supervisory exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year PBX experience required.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-line PBX switchboard and route calls to the correct department or person.
• Maintain facility-wide paging and emergency communication systems.
• Respond to codes and alarms in a timely manner and coordinate with hospital staff.
