Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst in Connecticut to drive financial analysis and underwriting for PBM and enterprise pricing. You will work on complex PBM pricing strategies and support leadership with data-driven insights and pricing deployment to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes independent analysis, collaboration with Caremark and Aetna teams, and building pricing documents for each business segment. Strong Excel skills and actuarial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess pricing and underwriting to maximize client value while retaining margin first in the PBM and second in the Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assisting Aetna’s Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing by providing segment-specific data.
• Completing tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models.
