Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and pricing within PBM and enterprise pricing teams in Massachusetts. You will influence pricing decisions and support leadership with data-driven insights to drive margins and value for Caremark and Aetna segments.

The role requires strong Excel skills and actuarial-like experience, with collaboration across underwriting, finance, sales, and legal to implement pricing strategy under regulatory constraints.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop pricing recommendations to maximize client value while preserving margin.
• Develop pricing for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis and data.
• Support underwriting leadership to create downstream pricing and data-driven insights.
• Complete tasks in Caremark underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and collaborate with Sales, Account Management and finance teams.
