Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing for PBM and enterprise pricing strategies. You will work with the Caremark and Aetna underwriting teams to develop segment-specific pricing and support pricing deployment across multiple client contracts.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, process improvement, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable pricing decisions. A strong Excel skill set and actuarial mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Experience with PBM pricing strategies and underwriting processes is a plus.
• Actuarial certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Assist Aetna Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment-specific data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models.
• Modify FAFs as appropriate.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support for internal and client requests.
