CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing for PBM and health-plan customers, reporting to the Sr. Manager of PBM Underwriting.

You will develop segment-specific pricing, work with Caremark and Aetna teams, and deliver data-driven insights to improve profitability. The role emphasizes pricing strategy implementation, tool development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Preferred: PBM/Health Plan experience and actuarial certifications.
• Strong Excel technical skills and ability to build pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Assessing risk and developing recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist Aetna Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Ad-hoc analysis to support internal and client requests and communicate findings clearly.
