Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and pricing within the PBM and Enterprise segments.

The role focuses on PBM pricing strategies, market analysis, and collaboration with Finance leadership to drive value for CVS Health and its clients. The successful candidate will manage complex pricing models, provide strategic recommendations, and support contract negotiations with Caremark and Aetna.

Qualifications

3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.

Responsibilities

Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while preserving margin.
Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
Support underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models.
Modify FAFs as needed.
Perform ad hoc analyses for internal and client requests.
Build relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Aetna Finance partners.
Prepare and update Pricing Commitment Documents reflecting Caremark pricing terms.
