Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and pricing for PBM and enterprise pricing strategies. You will work with CVS Health leadership to optimize pricing deployment across Caremark, Aetna, and client segments.

The role requires deep PBM economics knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate methodologies and outcomes clearly. You will influence pricing decisions and drive process improvements within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or other risk management or data related fields or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment-specific data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models.
• Modify FAFs appropriately.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support internal and client requests.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales and Account Management.
• Collaborate with Caremark and Aetna Finance partners on margin budget development and validation.
• Create and update Pricing Commitment Documents reflecting Caremark pricing terms.
• Advise Caremark Legal during contract negotiations.
• Provide analysis and guidance on regulatory changes and implementation scenarios.
• Work with internal partners to understand downstream implications of proposed pricing.
