Qualifikationen

• 2–3+ years of hands‑on payroll tax experience with focus on notice resolution, amended return preparation, and correction across multiple states.
• Experience reading IRS/state notices and determining resolution paths.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (Form 941‑X, W‑2c) and State payroll tax returns.

Aufgaben

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate payroll runs and tax filings.
• Independently resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, including balance‑due and deposit discrepancies.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation within required deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941‑X, state equivalents) for complex amendments.
• Support payroll correction workflows by identifying error sources and documenting the audit trail.
• Maintain personal WIP queue and prioritize cases by SLA dates.
• Analyze trends in customer data and agency correspondence to identify process improvements.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge base updates; mentor TP1 staff and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
