Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Tax Processor 3 to independently resolve non-routine tax cases and serve as an escalation point for less experienced processors, ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance for millions of customers across our platforms.

The role involves researching notices, preparing amended returns, performing reconciliations, and communicating complex tax guidance to customers and internal teams. Collaboration with payroll operations and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payroll tax operations, payroll tax compliance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated domain expertise; FPC or CPP preferred.
• Working knowledge of tax regulations, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and filing systems.

Responsabilités

• Independently research and resolve non-routine tax notices, penalties, and related issues.
• Prepare and submit amended tax returns and supporting documentation.
• Complete comprehensive reconciliations and identify non-routine discrepancies.
• Communicate specialized tax guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate complex or precedent-setting issues as a Tax Processor 5 or leadership.
• Identify and document recurring process or system friction for improvement.
