• Ability to conduct independent research and apply regulatory knowledge
• Proficiency with tax and payroll systems and spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Independently research and resolve non-routine tax notices and issues with regulatory knowledge
• Prepare and submit amended tax returns and supporting documentation with high accuracy
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations and identify non-routine discrepancies
• Explain complex filing requirements to customers and internal stakeholders
• Escalate only the most complex or precedent-setting cases to Tax Processor 5 or leadership
