Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience resolving notices across multiple states.
• Experience preparing Form 941-X and state equivalents.
• Ability to research and resolve complex federal/state payroll tax issues.
• Strong documentation and compliance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Research and resolve state and federal payroll tax notices from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation before deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Federal and State).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Maintain personal WIP queue and meet SLA deadlines.
• Analyze trends to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with other teams and mentor junior staff.
