Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor (Senior SME) to lead complex payroll tax issue resolution across notices, corrections, and amendments. This role fixes tax problems, mentors junior staff, and improves processes while handling the most complex cases in the queue.

Work involves coordinating with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams to ensure end-to-end resolution. Eligible for bonus and equity, with a focus on accuracy and capability building.

Competenze

• 4+ years payroll tax experience focused on tax defect resolution across multiple states.
• Expert knowledge of State and Federal payroll tax notices; draft penalty abatements and agency responses.
• Experience preparing/amending Federal (941-X, W-2c) and State payroll tax returns across states.
• Deep knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW, and payroll tax deposit schedules.
• Lead/senior SME with coaching/j training junior staff.
• Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and audit trails.

• Prepare and file amended returns across 10+ states end-to-end.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors and drive complete correction workflows.
• Maintain high productivity in case resolution with accuracy.
